The self-pour wine bar, Rapport, is launching a new Oyster Brunch just in time for Valentine’s weekend. The aphrodisiac bivalves will debut February 11 and 12, and continue every weekend, sourced straight from the local waters of Thorndyke Bay by Baywater Shellfish Co. As the star of brunch, Baywater Sweet Oysters will be served on the half shell (by the dozen or half dozen) with classic mignonette, alongside the much-loved brunch of Southern favorites including buttermilk biscuits, shrimp and grits, vegetable hash, eggs benedict, and more.
In true wine bar style, Oyster Brunch will also feature grower champagne by the glass, specifically Louis Nicaise Champagne, selections of endless mimosas (classic orange juice, pineapple juice), as well as recommending several of oyster-friendly self-pour sections, including muscadet.
Oyster Brunch is offered each Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. Rapport offers over 90 self-pour wines and beer. Located at 700 Broadway East, Seattle, 98102; phone (206) 705-9500.
